In June we will commemorate the lives and teachings of two of Jesusís apostles, Barnabas and Peter. We also will celebrate the nativity of John the Baptist. Holy Eucharist will be held on each saintís day at 8:00 a.m.

Fr. David has resumed his role as an 18th century preacher at the Fort at No. 4. The Office of Morning Prayer is read each Sunday at 11:30 a.m. on the parade grounds (weather permitting) using the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. Of special note is the French and Indian War Encampment at the Fort on June 8 and 9 (See for details.)

On Friday, June 14 at 7:00 p.m., Good Shepherd will host a prayer service for the churches from Springfield, Vt. and Charlestown, N.H. participating in the July 4th parade and rally in Springfield. Details will be forth coming on the event website (
