20 Summer Street (opposite the Old Town Hall) Charlestown, New Hampshire We hope that you all had a blessed and joyful Christmas season with family and friends.
Bible study will resume on Wednesday, January 4 at 9 a.m. after a short holiday break. We will be reading the Gospel of St. Matthew for the next several months. Coffee and snacks are provided. Please join us as we seek guidance of the Holy Scriptures in our daily lives.
On January 6, the 12th day of Christmas, we will celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany with Morning Prayer at 8 a.m. This day commemorates the manifestation of Jesus Christ to the gentiles in the person of the wise men who sought out the new borne babe in Bethlehem (Matthew 2). Tradition holds that they were three kings or magi from a country to the East, perhaps Persia.
The Parish of the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd extends our prayers and best wishes to all our friends in Charlestown for a healthy and prosperous New Year.
